Dear Customer, 

Being loyal to your supplier has its merits when reciprocated from the supplier to the client.  However, never in
our history has it become so critical to control and reduce operating costs to assure your company survives the
downturn.

 

You may ask, “Why should I change? What are the warning signs”?

 

Having worked on the supplier side for 15 years I have a clear understanding of the tactics used in such a time as
this, when management puts greater pressure on salesman and clients to boost dwindling sales and profits. 
Increasing sales is done in several of the following ways:

  • Repeated and numerous product price increases.
  • The introduction of ancillary fees, hazmat, handling surcharge, fuel surcharge fees.
  • Excessive billing of unneeded repairs, valve replacement, chemical cleaning, recoating, painting, blasting of cylinders, etc.
  • Anticipating that clients will sign and pay most any invoice, major supplies sends invoices with a plethora of fees confident that the customer will process without verifying the pricing or what is being billed and believe that most employees are apathetic and care little about the costs to the employer.

Today, ONE MUST CHECK EVERY DETAIL OF EVERY DELIVERY TICKET AND INVOICE FOR ACCURACY.
